Here it is the second week of September, a week many are looking at as a possible key week for world events. The next 7 14 days could very much prove to be a break point for many possible scenarios to unfold, thus giving some more clarity as to where our economy and daily lives are heading.

Not only is today Sunday September 9th, but it marks the first full Sunday for the professional football season. I write this as my fantasy football team The Sheared Sheeps Shrieks start piling up their points. To further the uneasiness of people this week marks the 6th anniversary of the terror attacks that took place September 11, 2001 with September 11 falling again on a Tuesday for the first time since 2001.

This all adds to the curiosity of the put options that were placed within the stock markets ( www.canadafreepress.com/2...090407.htm ) causing many to wonder what those people know that the rest of us dont.

Now all these above are speculations based partly on fact and partly upon assumption. Why do I keep an eye on such things? I keep a tempered eye on these things so that I can help explain to my customers why there is unrest in the real estate market. I also keep a partial eye on these things because of biblical prophecy many things world wide seem to be set for the ushering in of the final world government all that appears to be missing is the catalyst that initiates its emergence.

That said the Bible tells us that we are to tear down and destroy all speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God that we are to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. (2 Corinthians 10) You see, as true believers in Christ Jesus we are to walk in the will of the Father, to seek God, to place our faith and trust in God and God alone. We are not to lose our focus to speculations of world events, we are not to place our hopes in our jobs, incomes, banks and mortgages we need to believe that God is in control and that God will provide for all our needs.

We are told that our battle is not with flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are to not only put on the armor of God, but to pray and petition being alert with all perseverance praying at all times for all the saints. (Ephesians 6) Speculations of the world have no stronghold in our lives.
